It was my first bike commute in two weeks. I had been waylaid by the ice covering the Mount Vernon Trail. I left a little early to allow more time in case there was some ice today, but the trail was mostly clear. The sun was coming up just as I reached the Dyke Marsh bridge. I just had to stop and take it in.
