I Get Around

I’ve been keeping track of my outdoor bike mileage since 1991 when I bought The Mule. Sometime last month my four bikes broke the 200,000-mile barrier. Dang.

Clockwise from upper left: The Mule (Specialized Sequoia), The Tank (Surly CrossCheck), Little Nellie (Bike Friday New World Tourist), and Big Nellie (Easy Racers Tour Easy)

Total miles: 201, 469.

That’s roughly two years worth of riding. And it doesn’t include the miles I rode on my trusty Raleigh Grand Prix or my Trek 1200.

I need a nap.
